World War One Day
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice the children will be able to talk to/listen to a WW1 soldier, a nurse and a lady about the war and the Home Front.
Also, as part of next week’s World War I day on Wednesday we would like as many children as possible to bring in a hard boiled egg (still with the shell on) on which they will write a message. The children will also be making poppies with which they will be decorating the bandstand.
Thank you for your co-operation.
